Toshibas do not have a recovery partition. They come with recovery discs. You will need to use those discs to restore your computer.

I actually believe having a laptop cooler is the best solution for you here check out this blog http://bedigital.co.uk/ all about coolers - I have used one for a year or so and it helps in loads of different ways - from comfort to the fan noise check thisi video out http://www.metacafe.com/fplayer/4378012/cooler_master_notepal_d1_notebook_cooler.swf http://tinyurl.com/3ypjoma http://tinyurl.com/2v7wsu6

For video chatting with friends, I use skype.com. There's other chat services like Camfrog.com, Chatroulette.com, TeenChat.com, oovoo, Ivideochat, CamVoice.com, Omegle, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, GMail.com, AIM, etc. With WebcamMax.com (or free ManyCam.com), you can add some fun special effects (frames, masks/faces, warping/morphing, funny scenes, animation, etc) to your web cam stream (or capture). Most people only think of a webcam as being able to chat only. but you can also play motion sensing games like on http://www.SillyWebcam.com (other online tools: Cameroid.com, FlameOnWebcam.com, PlaydoCam.com, FunFaceCam.com, MotionGames.net).

Why does my volume on my toshiba laptop keep turning itself down?

Why does my volume on my toshiba laptop keep turning itself down?
Why does my volume on my toshiba laptop keep turning itself down? Its really starting to get irritating. It goes down like after 5 minutes of being on. Sometimes it slowly goes down other times it jumps from 60 to 0. What could be causing this drivers are all up to date. Everything is fine. Audio driver is realtek.....something. What else could be causing this?

If the volume turner thing is in the bottom front of the laptop, you might be turning it down on your own with your stomach, it might be delicate.
2 :
Check the audio properties. Some have noise canceling features and the feature may need settings.
