How to make the webcam in my toshiba laptop better?
I just bought a Toshiba laptop, and im going to be moving away so i want to be able to skype my parents but the webcam sucks, the picutre is all dark and you can hardly see my face. I've tried to change all the settings and messed around with it for a long time but it still doesnt look good. Is there any ways to maybe download a program to make your webcam better.... any ideas?

LIGHTING IS THE KEY. Make sure you have plenty of light to illuminate target.

You can't physically make it better. What you could do it buy a different webcam of much better quality and use that. If you do not want to do that you could always improve the lighting in your room. Really, there is not a lot you can do to make it better. Now, the thing about lighting is you DO NOT want to direct it right onto the target. You are much better getting a light and reflecting it onto yourself - or just do a home made soft box for one to balance it out.

Where can I download a new free camera software for toshiba vista laptop?
Hi! I need help. My camera assistant software for toshiba laptop doesn't function any more. When I open the software, the light for camera doesn't on, and the screen shows "no preview". Seems like part of the software was missing. Could anyone please give me a website or link where I can download a new free software? Mine is new home premium vista. Thanks!!!

if u think the part of the software is missing, then you will need to go to the toshiba site and download a fresh installation package probably they will have an updated version. But what I think is that the camera is bad and you mite need a replacement.

Where can I trade in my Acer laptop for a Toshiba laptop?
Someone on this web site told me that her friend traded in her Acer for a Toshiba. Can I do that at any laptop store, or a specific one? If it is a specific one, where can I trade it in?

Sell it on E Bay or a local classified news paper add. Most computer stores I know off do not take trade in's but call some in your area and ask.
