I bought a Toshiba A110 Laptop?

Toshiba Laptop??
I bought a Toshiba A110 Laptop just over a year ago and the Limited Warranty has run out, the laptop was purchased with a credit card bringing additional warranty but I am unaware as to if that would cover the large crack on the top cover of my laptop. Please help??

The best advice we can give is to call Toshiba and see if it covers physical/accidental damage.

When in doubt just call and ask, nobody wud be able to tell other then them bcuz we havnt seen the waranty nor the crack! So just call costumer support and ask!

I don't think it would cover physical damage, sorry

I'm intrigued - how did you come to crack it - did you perchance bash it in temper when Windows crashed yet again, giving you some meaningless error message - not actually telling you what the f..k was wrong with the bloody thing?

Usually warranties don't cover physical damage like that. Computer warranties are mostly for covering your internal components going bad. The crack in the top most likely wont be covered.

as warranty goes, no! unless you can prove it was something in the unit which caused the damage, eg overheating or a very bad hinge, you could try a bleeding heart approach direct to toshiba, u never know mention yahoo answers and they might look into it for ya! best of luck.

Cracked cover is due to neglect, its not covered.
