I lost the part of my Toshiba laptop that holds memory cards, can i get a new one?
On the left-hand side of my Toshiba Satellite laptop, there used to be a plstic tray that came out which would hold memory cards and read them. A few months ago I took out the piece and lost it. Now I have a memory card that I need to connect to my computer, but I have no way of doing so. Is there any way to find a replacement piece?

Do you mean the cover tray, it come out and then the memory card(s) just slide into the opening, the tray is just a dust protector and can be re installed or just left out. If this is not what you are after then the card reader will need to be replaced as an assembly call 1-877-688-7678 and ask for computer parts to order it from Fry's Electronics toll free or at http://www.frys.com If you are still unsure download the user guide and spec's by model number from http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp and read section on using the memory card reader(s). Just slide the memory card into the reader with the printing facing up and then open the memory card. To remove the memory card press in slightly and release it will pop out a little and them pull out rest of way.

Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527

I am having display issues with my toshiba laptop while playing games, how can I fix this?
My laptop screen goes blank while playing games on it, when I exit the game a message appears that says, the display driver has stopped working and has successfully recovered. Is this a video card problem or just update the display driver? When I updated the display driver from Toshiba it caused the laptop to lock up and the blue screen appeared saying a serious error has occurred and the laptop would shut down. I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527.

hi, 1.It may be happening because u r playing that games on ur laptop which ur laptop cant run. 2.Try to keep all eye candies in the game to low(resolution, anti aliasing etc) 3.See that u have the latest directX version updated on ur laptop 4.If nothing works Upgrade your graphics card.

you're running Vista aren't you. I used to hate that. I agree with the other answer also. The game may be too much for the graphics card to handle

In your start menu under all programs. It's from ATI Radeon Graphics. If you do there is a setting in there for gaming. If not, upgrade your graphics card.

Is there a remote that can control audio/video on a Toshiba laptop?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6005 laptop. Is there a remote that can control music and video playback? I had a HP tx2 that came with a remote, but I can't seem to find out anything about for the Toshiba.

Just Google something along the lines of "Multimedia USB Laptop Remote". When I did that I got tons of hits, it shouldn't be a problem to find one you like and buy it. They look pretty cheap too.
