How do you increase the volume on a Toshiba laptop?
Not talking Windows audio settings, the volume on the laptop itself. I was directed to a function control but that was a simply mute/unmute control. Toshiba Satellite L40 14N

At the top near the bottom of the screen theres 2 buttons for volume up and down.

Did you try FN + PgUp/PgDn? Or FN + F12 You could always go to your Control Panel and click Sound...

on my toshiba the first control on the right hand side is a thumb wheel that controls the volume.

try reading the instructions as most labtobs lol come with them lol
