What wi-fi driver I need to install for my Toshiba laptop?

How do I know what wi-fi driver I need to install for my Toshiba laptop?
I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that originally came with Windows Vista, but I had XP installed instead. I recently just wiped out everything due to a virus and reinstalled XP, but I'm having trouble finding the necessary wi-fi driver to reinstall. I went on Toshiba's website and tried installing a few but no luck. Any suggestions?

That was your mistake, you downgraded.. You may want to put vista back on, ~

Go to toshiba's website, go to "Support" then click on the download drop-down menu, select your model and it should bring you to everything available for your laptop, just find what you need, download it and install it. good luck.

If you canĂ¢€™t find the right drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at: http://www.best-driver-updater.com/

Good choice, I did not like Vista too much as well, especially at the start (better now with the service packs). You could consider upgrading to Windows 7, as many Vista drivers work there as well. For XP drivers, you can check the Toshiba website, but chances are they do not have XP drivers for newer models. Some Vista drivers might also work in XP, but the easiest is to simply find the right driver automatically using a driver finder program. Most likely it is an Intel, Realtek or other manufacturer's wifi chipset anyway. Those drivers do not need to come from Toshiba.
