How can I get the sound back on my toshiba laptop?
The sound works when my laptop is turning on (when its booting and the windows logo comes up). I have a Toshiba laptop satellite A-S-1592. I didn't do anything to it; I just opened the flap on it one day and the sound wasn't working. I got the latest sound driver update about a year and a half ago.

Check if there's an update for the sound drive, if not, uninstall the sound drive, restart your laptop, and a message would pop up asking if you wanna reinstall your sound drive, confirm that and it should be working again after the installation.
