Toshiba Laptop running slow on Internet Explorer?

Toshiba Laptop running slow on Internet Explorer?
It is a Toshiba Laptop, not many programs on it except Internet and Microsoft office. It uses Wi-Fi and it says the laptop is connected to the modem. Everything seems to be working, but the Internet doesnt work it will open the page slowly pull up stuff on the toolbar and it just says loading and never pulls up a page at all not even the "page can not be displayed" page comes up. How do you fix this?

As always in Windows, you got infected by a virus or other malware... Go to a good, healthy PC or laptop. Download one or more Antivirus Recovery CD such as Bitdefender, AVG, AVIRA, Kaspersky. Burn the downloaded .ISO files to CD. Boot your infected PC or laptop from the Recovery CD. Update the virus database from the internet and scan you computer for viruses, spyware and other infections. It is better to use at least 2 separate Recovery CD's to scan your infected computer or laptop. Good Luck. Note: You will not be having any problems if you will use Linux, since there are no viruses or other infections for Linux.

1.What is the speed of your internet? If it is dial-up,it will be slow.Upgrade to higher speed. 2.If speed is good.Tools / Manage Adds-on.Disable adds-on,that do not need to run, speed goes up.

To make your internet faster and improve the websites loading & downloading performance, follow the guidelines provided below: A) Reduce the Limit of your Web Cache: A Web Cache is a feature offered by your web browser that automatically stores copies of most frequently viewed websites on to your computer. When the web cache occupies a large amount of your disk space, you may experience that your internet is so slow. You have to reduce the amount of disk space used by web cache. 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Click Tools | Internet Options. 3. Click General tab. 4. Click Settings button under Browsing History frame. 5. Under Disk Space to Use list box, select 50 MB value. 6. Click OK and restart Internet Explorer. B) Re-setup the Network Settings: Make sure that settings favorable for best network performance are set-up. Download Reginout internet optimizer and analyze the settings first. When prompted, re-setup the best settings for maximum internet performance. C) Disable Add-Ons: Add-ons are the extensions installed in your web browser. Disable all the third party add-ons. 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Click Tools | Manage Add-Ons. 3. Select an add-on and click "Disable" button. D) Disable Toolbars: I observed that some third party toolbars take a longer time to load than how much time your web browser takes. Disabling these toolbars could make your internet faster. 1. Click View | Toolbars. 2. Uncheck a toolbar which you wish to disable.
