The touch pad on the laptop does not work?

toshiba laptop?
the touch pad on the laptop does not work. like i can move the mouse and everything but i have to click the buttons in order to do something (like press [X] (exit) or [-] (minimize)) does anyone know how i could activate that or make it work?

It should be a setting in your mouse driver. Look under control panel.

i would suggest going to the toshiba website and downloading the touchpad drivers

I have a Toshiba laptop, there should be a driver called ALPS that enables the touch pad feature. You should see the tray icon (near clock) if it's active.

I also have a Toshiba laptop. Just go to the control panel & go to the mouse properties & ajjust the properties if not press & hold the funtion key (FN) & a dialog box will appear then disable the mouse & again enable the mouse. Good Luck!
